How Zyft works, in plain words: the games, the rooms, the boards and the limits.
Zyft docs
The arena
- Three short skill games that run in your browser: Reflex, Aim and Echo. A round takes between ten seconds and about a minute.
- No download and no account. A wallet is only needed when you want to post a score to a board.
- Every round is built from a seed, so the same seed always produces the same round. That is what makes rooms and score checks possible.
- The arena lives at /arena. On a wide screen the three games sit side by side; on a phone a bar at the bottom switches between them.
Reflex
The pad waits a random time, then flashes. Tap as soon as you see the flash. Standard rules have 5 rounds with a wait between 0.9 and 3 seconds.
- A clean tap scores 1000 minus your reaction time in milliseconds. A 240 ms tap scores 760.
- A tap before the flash, or faster than 100 ms after it, counts as early and scores zero for that round.
- No tap within 2 seconds of the flash is a miss and also scores zero.
Aim
- Targets appear one at a time. Hit the current one to bring up the next. Standard rounds last 25 seconds with targets 112 units wide on a 1000 × 600 field.
- Each hit is worth 100 points; each click that misses costs 25. The score never goes below zero.
- Clicks closer together than 60 ms are ignored, which keeps auto-clickers from flooding the field.
Echo
- Nine tiles. A pattern lights up, then it is your turn to repeat it. Level one is 3 tiles long and each level adds one, up to 12 levels.
- A solved level scores twenty points per tile in its pattern. One wrong tile, or 15 seconds without finishing, ends the round.
- Taps while the pattern is still playing are ignored, so you cannot rush ahead of the display.
Practice and postable rounds
No wallet: practice. Wallet connected before you start: postable, with a ticket that lasts twenty minutes.
- Without a wallet every round is practice: same rules, same scoring, a seed made in your browser, and the result kept only on this device.
- With a wallet connected before you press start, the site issues a ticket for that game, rule set and wallet. The ticket lasts 20 minutes and can be posted once.
- Finishing a postable round shows a Sign and post button. You can also simply ignore it; nothing is sent until you sign.
Challenge rooms
- A room is a game, a rule set (standard, long or hard) and a seed, packed into a code that starts with Z1. The code is the room; nothing is registered to create it.
- Everyone who opens the code plays the identical round, so a room is a fair head-to-head even when people play at different times.
- Each room keeps its own board, separate from the open boards. Long and hard rules are only available in rooms.
- Rooms are public by nature: anyone holding the code can play and post. The title is plain text and limited to forty characters.
Boards
- Each game has one open board for standard rounds. A wallet holds one entry per board: its best checked round. A better score replaces it; a worse one is accepted and ignored.
- Boards keep the top hundred wallets. Entries expire after thirty days without a new post.
- Limits keep the boards readable: 60 posts per wallet per day, a cap per network, and a site-wide daily ceiling. Posting also needs a wallet holding a small amount of SOL, read live; nothing is spent.
Badges
Every badge is a written rule over the facts of one round, shown next to the entry so anyone can see why it was given. They are labels on this site only: not tokens, not NFTs, no value.
| BADGE | RULE |
|---|---|
| First round | Finish any round. |
| Clean hands | Reflex: no early tap and no miss in a whole round. |
| Quick draw | Reflex: average reaction under 250 ms with every round clean. |
| Sharp eye | Aim: 30 hits or more in one round. |
| Steady hand | Aim: 20+ hits at 90% accuracy or better. |
| Good memory | Echo: solve 6 levels in one round. |
| Long echo | Echo: solve 10 levels in one round. |
Player cards
- A card is an optional public name tag: a short tag, a colour and a motto. It appears next to your entries on every board.
- Tags are lowercase letters, digits and dashes. Mottos are plain words; links, markup and addresses are refused, and so are names that imitate official accounts.
- From the Boards tab you can remove all your entries and your card at any time, again with a signature.
How scores are checked
- The ticket must have been issued by this site, to the wallet that signs, for the same game, rules and room, and not already used.
- The round's own clock must fit inside the time that has passed since the ticket was issued, and must not be shorter than the game allows.
- The server replays the input log with the same code the browser used. If the replay gives a different score, or the log breaks a rule, the post is refused.
- These checks catch edited scores, replayed tickets and impossible timing. They cannot prove that a person rather than a script played, so treat the boards as friendly competition.
Boards decide nothing of value. No token, payment or reward is attached to any score, room or badge.
What your wallet signs
- A plain text message naming this site, the action in words, your address, a hash of the exact request and a one-time nonce.
- It is a signature, not a transaction: it moves no funds and costs nothing. The site never asks for a transaction and never sees a private key.
What is stored
- In your browser: your round history, best scores and earned badges. Clear them from the Boards tab.
- On the site, only when you post: the entry (address, score, round facts, badges, time) and your card. Network addresses are used for rate limits and not kept with entries.
- If the site is running without its storage configured, boards say so and every game keeps working as practice.
$ZYFT and planned utility
- $ZYFT is the project token on Solana. The games, rooms and boards work without it.
- Ideas being considered: cosmetic items, profile personalisation, access to special events and services for room hosts. None of these is active; they are plans.
- The contract address and its live data are on the token page.
Questions
What is Zyft?
Zyft is a social skill-game site on Solana. You play short browser rounds (Reflex, Aim and Echo), open challenge rooms that everyone plays with the same seed, and post checked scores to public boards with a wallet signature. There are no prizes and nothing to buy inside the games.
How does Zyft work?
Each round is generated from a seed and recorded as a log of your taps or clicks with their timing. When you post, the server replays that log with the same rules, checks the ticket it issued to your wallet and the time that has passed, and only then places the score on the board.
How do I buy $ZYFT?
$ZYFT has not launched yet. The contract address will be published on the token page of this site and on the official X account. Until then, any token using the name is not ours. Playing on Zyft never requires the token.
Which network is Zyft on?
Solana mainnet. Wallets connect through the standard Solana wallet adapter. The site only reads public chain data and asks for message signatures; it never asks your wallet for a transaction.
Can I win anything?
No. Scores, boards and badges are for fun and bragging rights. Nothing is staked, nothing is paid out, and badges have no value. $ZYFT utility ideas such as cosmetics or event access are plans, not live features.
What are the risks?
The site code has not been independently reviewed yet. Score checks catch impossible rounds but cannot prove that a human played, so treat boards as friendly competition. $ZYFT, like any token, can lose all of its value; nothing on this site is investment advice.
